Title: Fever 1793

Author: Laurie Halse Anderson

But fourteen-year-old Mattie Cook doesn’t get a moment to mourn the passing of her childhood playmate. New customers have overrun her family’s coffee shop, located far from the mosquito-infested river, and Mattie’s concerns of fever are all but overshadowed by dreams of growing her family’s small business into a thriving enterprise. Online or In Store?

Oh boy, the debate that renders me immobile every time. I try not to make a big deal out of this. Typically. But I’ve been meaning to get myself a couple new books, finish some series, and I always end up at this debate. I’m not even sure why this bothers me as much as it does (but I can’t be the only one). I feel I need a proper pros and cons list to help me. And I thought, why not share it? After all, sharing is caring, right? Right?!

regret

Right. To keep it simple, I’ll only list five for each pros and cons.

Hello world!

Hello, my name is Jessica G.
Don’t worry about my last name, it’s too long for anyone to really remember.

I’m all about the books!

I’m an avid reader of Young Adult. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve read my share of adult books (and loved them), but typically you’ll find me in the young adult/teen section in book stores.

I used to call it my guilty pleasure, but I found others who share this interest. I can’t put my finger on why I like young adult more, but I do, and life is too short to not read what you love.

I wanted a book blog to share with the book community. I have a tumblr and a twitter that I follow people on, and I have a goodreads account where I typically publish my reviews, but I kind of want this to be all of that in one spot.

I am looking to follow book blogs too. I just need to figure out the controls and get on my feet. I will be posting some of my reviews within the week. I hope.

I’ve heard great things about wordpress, so I am very excited.

Peace out bruh!
